How to Make Stuffed Tomato Patties – Crispy and Flavorful Recipe

Introduction:

Stuffed Tomato Patties are a delicious and unique snack that combines the tangy flavor of tomatoes with a spiced potato filling. Coated in gram flour and fried to perfection, these patties are a perfect appetizer or tea-time snack. Follow this simple recipe to create these flavorful stuffed patties at home!

Ingredients:

• 300 grams ripe small tomatoes

• 150 grams potatoes

• Gram flour (besan)

• Ginger-green chili paste

• Sugar

• Oil

• Lemon juice

• Grated coconut

• Chopped coriander leaves

• Raisins

• Salt to taste

 

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Filling: Boil the potatoes, peel, and mash them. Mix in salt, ginger-green chili paste, lemon                  juice, grated coconut, chopped coriander, and raisins. This will form the flavorful filling.

2. Stuff the Tomatoes: Cut the tomatoes into halves and scoop out the seeds. Fill each half with the                            prepared potato filling.

3. Coat the Tomatoes: Prepare a batter with gram flour and water to a thick consistency. Dip the stuffed                    tomatoes in the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.

4. Fry the Patties: Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the stuffed tomatoes until golden brown. Remove and                      drain on paper towels.

5. Serve: Serve hot with chutney or sauce of your choice.
