How to Make Peanut Fudge (Singdana Burfi) – Easy and Delicious Recipe

Introduction:

Peanut Fudge, also known as Singdana Burfi, is a delightful Indian sweet made with roasted peanuts, milk, and sugar. This rich and creamy dessert is perfect for festivals and special occasions. Follow this simple recipe to make this delicious treat at home!

Ingredients:

• 250 grams peanuts

• 150 ml milk

• Chironji (charoli) for garnish

• 25 grams sago (sabudana)

• 300 grams sugar

• 100 grams mawa (khoya)

• Pink food color

• Ghee (clarified butter)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Peanuts: Roast the peanuts, remove their skins, and grind them into a coarse powder. Heat ghee in a pan and sauté the peanut powder until fragrant.

2. Cook the Sago: Clean the sago, then cook it in a separate pan until transparent and tender.

3. Mix Ingredients: Soak the cooked sago in milk, then add it to the peanut mixture. Stir well over low heat. Gradually add milk, and once the mixture thickens, stir in the mawa and mix thoroughly.

4. Prepare Sugar Syrup: Make a two-thread consistency sugar syrup and add it to the peanut-mawa mixture. Cook until the mixture thickens further. Add vanilla essence and pink food color, then mix well.

5. Set the Fudge: Pour the mixture into a greased tray and spread evenly. Sprinkle charoli on top and let it cool. Once set, cut into square pieces and serve.
